Policies

Free Shipping
Orders totaling $100.00 or more, excluding tax, are eligible for free economy shipping and orders totaling $150.00 or more, excluding tax, are eligible for free standard shipping. Backorders and preorders are eligible.

Shipping and Handling
Orders are shipped out Monday-Friday, excluding Federal holidays when carriers are closed. Most orders are dropped off with a carrier by next business day, although during holidays or busy periods it may take up to two business days. Free shipping and economy / standard are sent via a carrier of our choosing. Orders with carrier-specific shipping selected will be sent via that method or an equally equivalent method. 

We offer domestic shipping options to all 50 states and Washington D.C in the USA along with the following territories;
American Samoa, Micronesia, Guam, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Armed Forces Americas, Armed Forces Europe, Armed Forces Pacific.

We currently do not offer international shipping.

Quality Controls
All of our books comes shrink wrapped in order to ensure that they stay in new condition and prevent shelf scuffing, accidental nicks, bends, or other types of damage. Any that are delivered to us with no factory wrap are personally shrink wrapped once unpacked. Some books may come with minor imperfections or nicks if delivered as such from the publisher. Volumes with bigger imperfections will have their own separate product pages with details.
 
To help protect your purchase during shipping we will always ship your order in either a box or between pieces of cardboard if mailed in a bubble mailer. 

Backorders
Backorders are open for titles that have already been released but we are out of stock on and have an order in place for with a publisher or distributor. Backorders are filled on a first ordered basis and statuses will be emailed. ETAs are not guaranteed and are subject to change based on publisher / distributor and shipping carrier delivery date estimates.  Your card will be charged at the time of placing a backorder and can be cancelled at any time.  

Preorders
Preorders are open for titles that have not yet been released but an order has been placed for with a publisher or distributor. Preorders are filled on a first ordered basis and updates will be emailed. While we will do our best to have preorders delivered on or around release date, we cannot guarantee this due to a variety of factors such as when we receive stock and publisher / manufacturer restrictions on early delivery. Your card will be charged at the time of placing the preorder and can be cancelled at any time.  
Please note that preorders on imported novelty items (such as Good Smile, Kotobukiya, etc) may experience delays of 1-3 months from their original estimated release date due to issues affecting the supply chain. We will always send email updates in the event of a delay and will ship out preorders as soon as they are received.

Final Call Preorders

Preorders with the tag "Final Call" are for products that have not yet been released or ordered from a publisher /distributor.

All Final Call preorders have a Final Order Cutoff (FOC) date listed along with an estimated shipping date. FOC dates are determined by the vendor's print/production commitment date. These dates are subject to change.

Quantities for Final Call preorders may be limited, and we cannot guarantee availability after the FOC date. Orders past the FOC date will be filled on a first-come basis.

While we will do our best to have preorders delivered on or around release date, we cannot guarantee this due to a variety of factors such as when we receive stock and publisher / manufacturer restrictions on early delivery. Your card will be charged at the time of placing the preorder and can be cancelled at any time.  

Cancellations
If you made an order but have changed your mind and want to cancel, please reach out to us via the contact form, email, or phone. If your order has not yet been shipped out, we will cancel it and refund you your money no questions asked. If you request a cancellation for an order that has already been shipped out or dropped off with a carrier you will need to initiate a return once you have received your order.
The maximum time frame of issuing a refund depends on your customer's bank's ability to process refunds for orders after a long period of time. We can usually issue a refund up to 120 days. We will issue a store gift-card in the event we are unable to process a refund for a cancellation back to your original payment method.
